Hi, around 8 weeks ago I was attacked whilst travelling in Thailand. I had a CT scan and was told I have a fracture of my inner orbital but I was given the all the clear by the optician and have spent the last 8 weeks waiting for it to heal.

In short, after about 2 weeks it sorted itself out but the fat above my eyelid is now near none existent and creates a dark line and fold above my eye. I have been to a doctor (I'm still travelling) but he was useless and I have self diagnosed the problem as a sunken eye. I have near 4 months left on my trip and basically my question is, is there any possibility that the eye will heal i.e will the fat above my eye heal? If not then am better to return home now to have the issue looked at or will leaving it 4 months have no further effect?
