I am experiancing swelling behind the eye, headaches, swelling of the eyelid, general itchiness, and the cause was getting the c**p beat out of me. I was blowing black blood out of my nose for about a week, and am pretty sure the pains your wife is experiencing is due to infection. It is a serious matter and it's good your getting checked out. I don't have health coverage so I'm eating garlic which has the same qualities as penicilin and taking it easy.
