I just read a post that concerned someones collarbone being swollen....I too, am having this problem. My question is: If is not bruised, only swollen, can it be fractured or broken? I have a doctor's appointment in a few days, but was told, over the phone, it probably wasn't broken if it wasn't bruising....Should i be seen before this?

I was hurt in a car accident and broke my collarbone. There wasn’t any swelling or bruising but I felt pain and there was this bump where the bone was broken.
I had to take painkillers to get rid of the pain and wear a sling. The pain is gone now and I am going to start physical therapy at the beginning of the new year. What did you do?
