Hello,
I am 30 weeks pregnant. Everything is ok with me and the baby, it is just that my hands are swollen. I even had to get my wedding ring cut of because I couldn’t get it off my finger, which was getting blue because of the swelling…
Is this normal or is this happening just to me?

Hey there,
This is quite normal for late pregnancy, so do not worry. I also had to get my ring removed cos I couldn’t get it off… in my late pregnancy my hands were almost twice as bigger as otherwise and I felt this pressure in them… I usually solved this problem by lifting arms in the air.. it was better for few minutes… and then the old feeling was back. As I said, I think swollen hands are quite normal for pregnant women.
Good luck in future!

I am not a doctor or a medical practitioner, but I learnt through research and my pregnancy that too much intake of sugar and carbohydrates will make your body or other parts of your body swollen. Also, to ease your pain, massage your swollen areas with baby oil for 5 minutes and place your legs on a chair elevated enough for your blood's circulation.
