It could be possible that older subscriptions wouldn't work perfectly, but newly subscribed should work.

I'm still only getting latest posts show up from the time I come on when I go straight to latest it's empty as for notifications still not receiving any of them from new posts but occasionally get an old subscribed post notification when a new message goes on.

Well, I have had notifications of the two posts subsequent to mine (yours & njoynlife's). So that seems OK.
As for older subscriptions, the list under 'my posts' in Timeline cannot be reordered. I have missed several posts because they are not ease to find. It would be better if my posts were grouped (and concertinaed) under each topic so that there is initially one line per topic. The ability to sort by topic and date of last post would help.

You probably activated option "Send me daily updates on topics I'm actively following" in your profile, or you subscribed to this topic but you chosen option "Send me notifications: once a day".

Nope my settings haven't changed from how I had them on the old site

I have unscribed and subscribed to this topic many times since it started to see if I would get notifications but no it never worked.
I did get a message about cookies for this site yesterday first time since the new site went live.

It looks like the latest posts are working fine now as when I opened it there was 25 pages going back 21 hours tried opening a few and hitting the back button and they were still there.

When the new system went live, I received some notifications, including some to this topic. Then they stopped, except I got notified of posts I made! I missed lots of posts that were aimed at me, and I was subscribed to those topics, but I received no notifications. I now am getting notifications about posts to this topic as well as some others. However, as I was not being notified of posts, I gave up replying to unanswered topics, and just tried to find posts in old topics. I had similar problems to yo with Latest Posts, but I think it might be fixed now - but I am not holding my breath.
Also I am confused by the (mainly red and green) speech-bubble icons against topics/posts in timeline.

Geez, ya just can't pleeze some people. I'm ecstatic now, I'm getting all the latest posts without losing any. I'm even getting notifications, some for other topics but mostly for this one because you guys can't shut up.

Thanks for your suggestion Shepherd999. I'm going to put this on the whishlist wall and it would be considered by our product team and probably adjusted for some of upcoming releases.

First thing in the morning I usually find quite a few pages in latest posts. Today I only have this one post which is my answer to pseudo.
My guess is they were all wiped because I responded to several reply notices before reading the latest posts.
