Curious if anyone has heard of this or tried it. It's a book/system that's supposed to help you get over osteoarthritis with a combination of different supplements. Sounds like c**p to me, but Vioxx/Celebrex don't work on me any more. Most days I am fine, other days I could eat a bottle of Vicodin and not make a dent in the pain. Advil is a joke.
Again, it kinda sounds like a bunch of bs but if anyone has tried it and it worked I'd love to know.

Saw something about this K31 and even went to the website to avoid some of the products.

there's that word cure again - i can not stand when the press, books, magazines, anybody anywhere uses cure in the same sentence as an illness. kristin - i can't say i'd ignore this but i am so sure it is some gimmick.
i've read enough c**p about diabetes "cures" in the past it makes me hurl to think of it. arthritis and diabetes are both auto-immune diseases. some schmuck just wants to sell books or whatever by using the "C" word.
i am so sorry you are in such bleeping pain with arthritis. if i were you, i would probably buy the book. there's so much blither out there but there is also a cutting edge of credible anti-drug stuff being written that is laughed at my MDs everywhere. if the book is based on diet and supplements, i might honestly give it a try.
i cringe when i hear that word cure. Halle Berry gets on TV and says she "cured" herself of insulin-dependent diabetes. she is a liar. she either never had it or still uses insulin to survive. cure schmure.
here's to some really pain-free days for you Kristin.

I'd have to side with the mystery poster up there ;) on this one. You know I'm a HUGE fan of alternative medicine, since what I have is not treatable by allopathic medicine and I find doctors pretty much useless....I'd say at least check it out to see if there's any viable remedy in there you might use, but don't get your hopes up looking for a total cure. I learned the hard way with the CFIDS and fibromyalgia that sometimes there just isn't one. Autoimmune diseases are tough because a lot of it is your own body reacting against itself, your natural defenses going haywire, so to speak.
Check with that therapist or whoever you said you met at Wild Oats...I think they were some sort of alternative medicine someone or other? I remember you telling me about that. Or it was at the health food store, you know who I mean. But I'd definitely give alternative therapies a serious look....and try some lower impact exercise to give your joints a break...more yoga, tai chi, swimming......try to make it more about your general health than about weight. Those are all good for your mental state too...I feel a lot better since doing yoga every day.
