TO WHOEVER GUEST DOSED IN INDIANAPOLIS... Was the place called Itc? INDIANA TREATMENT CENTER that's the clinic I go to and the place is a mess. I'm on my 8th counselor. any of The good counselors quit after a few months because constant changes and un- ending bureaucracy. Quite a few counselors 1 super short and fat evil lady.. Jennifer Seems TO enjoy condescending and kicking people out for a small relapse.. The place Is not all bad though it has helped. Me stay clean it Is very true when they say u will only get. Clean if u completely give in to the process.. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

I'm in chronic pain and dealings addiction. I get no buzz off dose. But it handles my pain much better and more consistently than e d100mg of opana I was on. The dose have saved my quality of life.. And my life in general!!! The only bad thing is it does make me sleepy.. Very sleepy

I don't think ANYONE posting in this forum on methadone/dose is looking for a "high".I got on the stuff after becoming addicted to percocet first prescription then non prescription in high doses.I was in serious withdrawl and in danger of losing my job.I went to my doc he wouldn't give me anymore and suggested methadone.BIGGEST mistake of my life!!The stuff just like any other opiate you will become tolerant and need to increase your dose just to stop feeling like c**p.I have gone cold turkey from hydromorphone @ 24 mg every 5 hours and that was hard but dooable.Trying to get off methadone/methadose IMMPOSSABLE!!Oh and buy the way methadose does NOT last as long and I start to feel it just after 24 hrs

would have to strongly agree with last response long time user had to go up on my dose it being a generic drug it only has to be 87% of an exact match of the original drug and the drug company making methadose they may get a slap on the wrist or even possibly find but then it's back to Big Business business and back to Big

I agree with the last statement and what the media keeps labeling an "opioid epidemic." My generation (gen X)...I'm 44 years old and have had back problems for 28 years but it wasn't chronic pain until about 15 years ago. When I first had to take pain killers it was demerol and meprogan if hydrocode didn't cut it. It was standard for migraines even. I was always prescribed hydrocodones and percocets by just general practitioners before they started charging hundreds of dollars to pain doctors. My new pain doctor charged me $450 to pay upfront for the initial visit or $480 at the time of the visit and charges $185 every month and will not use my insurance. I live in SC and it all went downhill after coming up with 24 hour pain meds such as oxy's, opanas and fentanyl. Sure i ran out of meds early a lot of moths but I suffered through it and sought some street help occasionally to get me to next month if it was real bad and had to work. I and a lot of people respected the drugs. Now that people are getting cut off from doctors, ridiculous street prices and cheap heroin everywhere because the Mexican cartels know how to jump all over a problem for some with lining their pockets with good, cheap heroin. Pretty soon heroin will be in EVERY small city in America. People will never stop using opiates if they once had a taste or if they are in serious chronic pain like myself so where do people turn when they get cut off of blacklisted by pharmacies..... The US will never solve this problem. How much money was spent by Reagan and Bush in the 80's to stop cocaine coming to the US and it hardly put a dent in the cocaine supply. Only it is coming from a closer and much bigger country lining our southern border. I'll stick to the methadone I have been off and on for about 8 years now. Best for my lower back, chronic pain. You know when you are going to high on your methadone doses and you can tell when the drug (and any pain med.) starts to become ineffective after taking it for too long. Doctors used to switch from different types of pain meds to keep your tolerance under control. As much as it sucks, you have to bite the bullet and drop you dose from 100mgs to 50mgs and go up again slowly to get relief again or you can try coming off of 200+ mgs after being on it for years and years, I was on 150 prescription mally's for 3 years and got off for about a year and it was like starting on methadone all over again.,,,, And I'm a big dude at 6'4 240lbs. Plus you can't control what is going to happen in your life. I was hit by a drunk driver while on 150mgs last September and was starting to taper down when I was hit head on by a drunk driver that almost killed me. Not a fun predicament to be in when no pain meds will help. God forbid you get locked up for over 4 days on a high dose!!! I I started going up to 230 mgs of mally's a day buy have made it back down to 90mgs currently 10 moths later. You just have to listen to your gut.... your body knows a hell of a lot better than your brain!!! Sorry for rambling. Good luck to everyone.

If you are on actual methadone, you must skip doses for approximately three days before you will notice any withdrawal symptoms. If you are taking Methadose liquid, you start to notice withdrawal symptoms after approximately TWELVE HOURS!! This is a FACT!! I have been on real methadone several times in the past. as soon as I began taking Methadose' I began to awaken at around 4:00am in FULL-BLOWN WITHDRAWAL! It just IS NOT THE SAME DRUG!!

I agree with you 100%. I have been on and off the clinic for over 30 years. Unless I'm running late, I love the gossip you hear while standing in line. This weeks gossip was all about the new sh*t we're getting now. Can't believe how many professional doctors we have on our clinic. 90% of the clients have opinions/complaints about this new meth we're now getting.
Now this where the BS rumors start and how it actually affects the way you THINK the dose is working for you. Regardless which meth your clinic is now dispensing, your MIND is now programmed to believe and feel what you heard while standing on line waiting for your turn at the window.
Listen, the mind is POWERFUL.
Here is a true story .... After spending nearly 3 years in prison, and without using any kind of substance, I actually experienced a small amount of withdrawals on the train ride home after maxing out. Looking out the window I started seeing familiar billboard signs reminding me of home. Could you believe I actually started to experience small symptoms of withdrawals even though I hadn't used in nearly 3 years. My mind connected those signs with home, home being where I ran hard for many years.
SO.... If you think your going to be uncomfortable or sick from the meth your taking, regardless which meth your clinic is dispensing, YOU WILL go through something because you've allowed yourself to co-sign the BS you heard.
