hi I'm almost three weeks late in my period and it seems so unusual since my period used to by normal, about every after a month, for four to five days. I haven't had any sex in my entire life and this bothers me. I wonder if something could be wrong? thanks

Since you have never had any kind of sex or sexual relations there is no chance of pregnancy. Since we can rule that out it could just be normal. Some women will occasionally miss a period if there last period was very heavy or they are under a lot of stress. Have you been under a lot of stress? Have you started any new medications or birth control? Was your last menstrual cycle normal in heaviness, length, color, odor, etc? Are you experience any other problems with your missed period like severe cramping or pain? If you have no problems with this missed period you can be fine. Wait until next months period which should start around normal time. If you miss two periods in a row then you may need to see a doctor to get physically checked out.
