After serveral doctor visits to figure out why I'm having pain in my temple, around the ear and even neck, I've been told I have TMJ. Is it possible with this condition to have swelling just inside my ear. Just 3 days ago, I could easily get a q-tip in my left hear...tonight, I have to force it to get it in. I'm concerned it might be something bigger than TMJ. Anybody have information on this? I know your muscles can become inflamed with tmj...but the inside of your ear?
