Hi

I broke one of my bottom, back tooth about 7 months ago. It was fine up until the end of August when it started to hurt.
What I want to know is out curiosity, how the hell does one tooth nerve cause so much pain in other areas? How does the nervous system work.
I mean, somedays my top teeth throb along with my bottom front, despite there being nothing wrong with them. Sometimes my throat will feel like it's been stabbed up through my tongue, and then other days my eye and ear will throb away....yet out of all of this pain, the actual tooth itself never hurts. HOOOWWW?? And what can I do to ease it.
I think my body is starting to get used to pain killers as they don't seem to have the lasting effect they used too. I can't afford to get it done as I've been made redundant.

How long is it before the friggin nerve dies??
