My wife was diagnosed with C Diff last July. She has taken several doses of Flagyl and Vancomycin and still has the bug. There is a new strain that is resistant to most of the drugs we currently have. Be aggressive about seeking treatment and get as many opinions as possible!

I had c diff for 4 month had a fecal transfer and it has not returned. I take Saccharomyces Boulardii pro biotic daily and eat lots of fresh foods.
