I am prone to cystitis so I try to take all recommened preventative steps.
Such as peeing immediately after sex. However I always have trouble peeing after sex. Even if I manage to pee a little bit I can't empty my entire bladder.
So I have to wait a while (at least 20-30 min) before I pee. Is this too long? What is the most amount of time I should leave it before I pee?

If you had an orgasm and got up to go to the bathroom right afterwards yes you are going to have a hard time peeing so wait it out a little while before you try to get up and go until the swelling in your vagina goes down.

Myndyd has a point. After you have had an orgasm your vagina is swollen and it is impossible to go to the bathroom right away so it would be best to wait just a little bit and then try. If you make a habit out of this you will probably have the system and your body will react in the same way every time and you will be able to go to the bathroom few minutes after you had orgasm.

I hope that you will succeed and let us know about your results. Anyway if you continue to have problems with this it wouldn’t do any harm to visit your doctor and talk to him about this. Good luck and I hope it will work.
