I am two weeks into my birth control pack and my breasts are tender to the touch and i have no cervical mucous appearing on my underwear. i took my first pill of this pack one day late but still took it like i was supposed to (take it as soon as i remember and then take the next one at the scheduled time) occasionally i do not take them at EXACTLY the same time and could fall a few houes late but i still take them and dont miss. what are the chances of me being pregnant this month if i missed my first pill but am all caught up? what could the absent cervical discharge be from? does it stop in early pregnancy?

When you first start birth control...your body changes alot--hormonally. Your breast being tender is normal. Your body needs to adjust to amount of hormones being introduced into it. Your cycle will not be the same all the time...it takes about 3 months to get back on track...I missed my pills all the time, and never got pregnant in 6 years!

this is not my first pack...i have been taking BC for about 9 months now. i accidentally missed the first pill of this months pack and took it the next day. i noticed that my breasts became real tender but that has backed off, i didn't have discharge up until now and when i do it is thick and creamy. (sorry for the gross description) i took one preg. test already and it was negative but i also havent missed a period yet. i have noticed that i have a feeling of having to urinate often but when i do go it is in small amounts. could i have an internal infection causing this change in discharge or is this a major sign of early pregnancy?
