I was in a relationship with a boy in Germany for a year and a half before I saw him so before I start writing, I want you to know I know what it is like.
So you're saying that you have posters of girls in bikinis, half naked? It really all depends on how she views things like that. My boyfriend has never done anything like that (I am currently with somebody who lives an hour away from me now not the guy from Germany) nor would he ever do anything like that because that is how he is. He constantly tells me I am the most beautiful girl and doesn't look at other girls that way, but me. But, if he did have posters like that hanging up in his room, he would tell me because a good relationship is built on honesty. It is important to keep an open line of communication, regardless what it is. I know to you it might not seem like a big deal, but just mention it to her and ask her opinion about it. Us girls are sensitive and our feelings are hurt very easily, so be gentile. She might not be pleased to know this but understand it is your life and you can do what you want with it as long as you're not cheating on her, which is completely is unacceptable.
I personally would care if my boyfriend had pictures like that up on his wall because it would make me feel like I wasn't beautiful or 'busty' enough for him. Us girls do not like to be compared to one another, it really lowers our self-esteem. I also believe, however, it's his choice and I am not obligated to control his life, but then again, I don't know how your girlfriend is. She might be okay with it, she might not be. Wherever she stands on this, respect her though and she should have respect for you for telling her that you have posters like that. I wouldn't be mad, I would just want an explanation.
