I am a high school girl in track and about two weeks ago i had really bad sharp pains in my quad, but i continued running the relays i was in, and right before i started my last even i told my coach i was having bad pains in my leg, and she didnt mmake me run my last event. The pain was soo bad, it feels like sharp pains that go through my quad if i sprint or jog to fast or something like that. But eever since then my coach told me to stretch everynight and roll my quad, and in practice everyday she has wrapped it and put some icy hot rub stuff on it, and made me run 4 to 6 field X's, and it seems my injury is getting worse. I am also in softball, and it hurts me to bat, run (jog), and play first base. I dont have a clue of what my injury is, or how to treat it, so if anyone could please HELP!!!!! I would REALLY appreciate it. :)
