i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend about 1 month ago i aint had a period since and i should have and i have had cramps in my side and stomache, really bad mood swings, and feeling sick in the mornings, and a craving for cream cheese lol (which is unusual for a young person as i am late teens) but all of a sudden i had a really sharp cramp in my side and all this blood came out of me and i dont now what to do i dont now weather i was pregnant or what but my periods are light and this blood is dark and heavy with clots.
can any one help me

Hi Honey, without knowing totally if you were pregnant or not, I can't really say either way if you had a miscarriage or not. I do think you have had one though!!! :'( So what I need you to do is this, you need to go to the doctor and mention that you had all of this bleeding etc. He/She will need to do an ultrasound on you, they can determine too if you were/are pregnant! The reason why you need an ultrasound is IF you have had a miscarriage they need to determine if you have Expelled the entire fetus. Sometimes after a miscarriage you can still have tissue left and this can cause MAJOR infections.

Now you also need to be aware that IF you are pregnant and STILL are, that sometimes bleeding can happen while you are pregnant. I think the nausea and the craving for cream cheese - totally understand that! - IS/WAS a sign of pregnancy, ESPECIALLY after having unprotected sex a month ago - that matches up. So try and get to see someone ASAP OK? And please keep me updated OK? Also I HAVE to say this hon, IF you are not pregnant and do not want to be, PLEASE ALWAYS USE PROTECTION Ok?
