Hi. I'm 34 year old female.
Few days ago I have noticed I have small rash on my genitals.
I didn’t pay too much attention on it because I thought it was some trivial urinal infection.
But after a while I have noticed unusual and persistent vaginal discharge.
It was very profuse and it had an odor smell. I felt no pains what so ever.
My discharge was first gray, but with time it became a bit whitish.
I'm not afraid of some infection. Only thing that frightens me was possibility I have some sexually transmitted disease.
Please tell me this isn’t possible!!!

Well, I can't never tell your for sure you don’t have some serious sexually transmitted disease but I can tell you that such STDs often cause some skin changes on your vulva and groin region.
So, I don’t think you have some STD.
Probably cause of your unusual vaginal discharge is some type of cervicitis.
Cervicitis is most often caused by an infection.
Chlamydia, and trichomonas are commonly seen sexually transmitted infections that can cause cervicitis.
This kind of infectious are treated with prescription medication antibiotics or antifungals drugs taken locally or even orally.
Simple cervicitis typically heals with treatment if the cause is adequately identified and treatment is available for that specific cause.
I don’t think you should wait a minute longer because you can develop some complications like abnormal vaginal bleeding or strong vaginal pains.
