Every night for the past couple weeks i wake up in the middle of the night with what feels like an upper abdominal cramp. It usually hurts to the point where i cant really fall back asleep but not anything extremely serious.. It hurts until i get out of bed and get moving in the morning then the pain subsides. I cant figure out exactly why.. I cant describe it as anything internal really but from what ive experienced in the past it literally feels like a muscle cramp.. I could be wrong though because i have never had anything internal give me pain... It is the upper central abs area, maybe a little to the left and right also but mainly smack dab in the middle just below my chest there.. Help please!

I would also like to add i have just had a dosage change on my anti seizure meds, oxcarbazepine. My mother-in-law who is a nurse tends to think is may be a lack of potassium or dehydration because i sweat a lot at work outside during the summer and dont drink a lot of water... So just throw that into your summary
