I'm having the same problem for about two months. I had total hysterectomy at 36 and am now 71. I'm too embarrassed to talk to my doctor about this. Good to know I am not alone with this problem. I only have it when I use the bathroom.

This has been happening to me (accompanied by a sometimes foul-smelling discharge) ever since my surgery in January. My doctors and I assumed it was from my vagina, because I was told 2 years ago that I had a bowel fistula, but they keep examining me and finding nothing in my vagina. I started telling them I thought it was coming out of my urethra but they didn't believe me. I tell them it's like a little boy blowing bubbles in his chocolate milk, and at least I have a witness because it happened in front of one doctor (but he didn't bother to look to see where it was coming from).

I went to the ER a week ago because blood-tinged urine started coming out as well, and they said I had a UTI and gave me 10 days of Augmentin (which I'm not quite done with yet). But it hasn't stopped. Just now I woke up feeling I had to pee so bad, but when I sat down, for the first time, all that came out of me was air. Lots and lots of air. I don't even think I've ever burped or passed gas that much.

When he operated on me in January, the surgeon told me he held each of my organs in his hand, and there was no fistula. And my gastroenterologist said there's no way the discharge is coming from the bowel because there\s no feces in it. The E.R. doctor said if the discharge was coming from the bladder I would be a lot sicker (fever and such).

I'm so glad I found this thread, I just wish it had some answers!

Ok is this a sign of maybe being pregnant? I'm 16 and. Idk yes I've had sex. And when we do it from behine I feel like these air bubbles are coming out. my boyfriend wanted me to do some research about it to make sure I'm ok. And when he lifs my life up in the air around his neck then I feel it my stomach feels like its hungry buts it not then I feel the bubble come up. And then when he moves it comes out. Its super imberssing. And want it to stop. I tell my bf that its not a fart bc its coming out of my vagina. And he says that he knows. So I'm confused. Is there something I can take for it? Bc at this moment I'm desperate. Please help.

I have been having uretha gas for a while. I first thought it was vagina gas but i have ruled that out. I also suffer badly from normal gas. I have had quite abit of surgery needing cathers inserted. Anyway last time it wasnt put in correctly and i had the urge to go which i know you dont have the urge. The nurses tried to repostion it but it wasnt able to go in. They rang the dr after they realised i wasnt able to empty my bladder and after 3 more attempts of trying to put a catheter in ( 1 attempt was by a midwife) they gave up and kept scanning my bladder which wasnt emptying. I have been having problems for about a year and i have noticed the farts are coming out they are particularly embarrsing and loud and i really havent been houng out much and im too embarrassed to have sex as well. Im going back to the dr this week i really need to find a solution to this its making me feel miserable.

This sounds like normal queefing. Air gets in your vagina during sex. It has to escape somehow. So it does. Unless it has a foul odor or is coming out of your urethra, don't worry about it. Totally healthy and normal!
