I think this drug has gone underused in recent years because it's not used for what it is actually indicated for: the treatment of mild to moderate pain.

I think doctors tend to prescribe it for serious pain and patients respond with less than effective results. I've used it for serious headaches, strep throat, and skeletal muscular pain in conjunction with Soma with great results. When a doctor seems hesitant to prescribe medication because your condition doesn't seem serrious enough, don't forget about tylenol with codiene; it's there for the less severe nonetheless bad pain.
