vaginal bleeding a day after intercourse

Wow, even though it is unfortunate to hear how often this is happening to others, at the same time it is comforting to know I am not going through this alone. I have been having sex with my boyfriend for two years and this has only happened to me twice and also quite recently. We're very much in love and I have not had sexual encounters with other people whilst with him and I'm positive that neither has he. The first time that the bleeding happened, I bled for about two days before my period was even due. It was heavy and then got light very quickly. Then the second time happened and I bled for about two days again also. I have no idea if I should be worried about pregnancy or if there is seriously something wrong with me. We sometimes have unprotected sex. Somebody please help me understand, I feel worried that this might be something more serious. Shae.

I have sex with my boyfriend every two or three weeks, neither of us have an STI but after sex I bleed for a few hours and I always have a cut just below my vaginal opening, could this be just because his penis is large or could it be something else?

Same thing happens with me . and i obviously am self conscious about it. but i do already know that i have endometriousis . so i would get checked by your gyno .

All of these things could be inflamed blood vessels in the cervix.. or HPV, everyone should get checked if having multiple partners because you dont want to give something to someone who doesnt already have it.. 

I'm 15 years old and I had sex for the first time last night. After him and I finished, I was bleeding like crazy. I took a shower before I went to bed. The next morning, I woke up and went to use the bathroom and I was still bleeding. It isn't heavy and it isn't light. It's about in the middle somewhere. But, I'm also scared because he pre-cummed inside of me. He keeps telling me that I won't get pregnant but I doubt it because pre-cum can still get you pregnant. Right? I need some major help.

NSame thing happended to me before but its nothing bad . Its just inflammation. If you have sex again and you start to bleed dont hace swx for a couple of days. Give it rest until the bleeding completly stops :)

you could be pregnant that happen to me. if i were you take a pregnancy test to make sure good luck

i have had sex yday with my parnter and i am worried he could off gone too deep and cut me its the first time i have had sex in about 7 months x

okay i have read throough all these and haven't seen the same as whats going on with me. I had sex last night, then when i woke up this morning there was blood on the tiolet paper after i peed and i didnt think anything of it but later on that day I went to go pee and there was blood on my undies and then more when i peed, now it is like a period but i know it cant be because i had it last week and am on birth controll. there is no pait but im still scared and cant just run to the doc.  can someone please help??

I have not had sex for 3 months than decided to give it up to my current partner on Wednesday. We always use comdoms which gives me discomfort. For two days i was sore and tonight i just started to bleed and this is the first time this has happened. I had a check up a month before so i know i don't have an infection so it could be because it has been a while also he is not that small.

The best thing to do is speak with your doctor than just take it easy and inform your partner so he knows to be more gentle in the future so that your body gets used to having intercourse again.

im in a similar situation, i had sex a day ago and i woke up this morning with bleeding.. it wasnt heavy but i was concerned. my partner finished in me and i was meaning to go and get the morning after pill today but im worried about what has happened. it has freaked me out and now i dont know what to do. a week ago he made me take the morning after pill agian and i dont know whether i am pregnant now. some one please help me ??

Hi just been reading some comments im slightly concerned as 1yr ago i was treated for severe dyskaryosis and had leep procedure, since then ive had 2 normal smear results but the last 2 times ive had sex both on saturdays ive started bleeding on the monday which lasts a good week, im also on the pill which i have been for 12yrs and never onced had irregular bleeding between periods, cant help but think the worst!!!! anyone else gone through the same thing??

um im 18 i had sex for the first time in awhile about 5 days ago, yet im sore when i went to the bathroom just recently blood appeared , it hurt alot for like a secound x im sort of shy to go to the doctors, its hard for me to open up about my sex life when everyone thinks im a virgin. iv only had sex with that one guy and my ex like 2years ago. we used a condom ? , my vagina really hurts at times , not all , but recently when i go to the bathroom its sore, id just like some advice please x

I have never bled after sex before but the last time I did I wiped and there was pink on the t.p. I figured it was nothing but when I woke up I was bleeding heavily even clotting. I knew it's not my period cause it finished a week and a half ago. We'll the bled ding was heavy enough for tamping. This carried on for four days. After the bleeding finished I feel like I have a u. T. I. And a yeast infection. I had a uti before feels like if I pee everything is gunna fall out and it hurts bad. And I beleive a yeast infection is itchy. I'm 32 and married 12 years. I know my husband sleeps with only me and I the same. What is this!
