My boyfriend and I have been sexually active for a month now. Before him I have had two different sexual partners and he also has had two.

Last night we didn't have a condom but we had sex anyways. Today (the day after) I started to feel feverish and my vagina started feeling like it was burning. It felt a little better when I wasn't wearing pants or underwear that were tight. My vagina is a little red and the burning lasts about two hours and then goes away then comes back again. This has never happened before and we have had sex without a condom before. It feels fine when I pee but after it burns extremely bad. I'm not sure if I should wait it out another day or go see a dr. asap because it is very uncomfortable. Please help!

Could be a yeast infection?

Women with yeast infection may develop any one or all these symptoms including:

Pain/itch/burning at vulva area

Pain/itch/burning in vagina

Pain during intercourse and/or urination

Cottage cheese like vaginal discharge

Swelling and pain around the vulva

You can try to eat lots of plain yogurt or put it directly on your privates. Since you mentioned that you have fever, i suggest you to see a doctor asap to rule out something more serious. If you do have one, you'll get prescriptions. Herbal medicine called SPAM could also be a good option since herbs are more natural and can always get infection treated more completly but without carrying drug resistence and side effects. You could google it and have a look.

Good luck!
