About a week ago I noticed that my vaginal area was starting to itch and always have the feeling that it needed to be itched. It didnt bother me or my husbands sex life very much at all so we continued on with the same way of doing things.

Just the past couple of days i started to burn and feel dryness in certain parts of the vaginal area mostly between the rectum and vaginal opening. I had a lil discharge and thought it was yeast infection but its gone away and am left with this redness, burning, dryness. I dont understand where it came from. Ive douched and tryed to use the vaginal cream but it just makes it burn more.

i had the same symptoms, went to see my local nurse, it turned out to be thrush.
the best advice i can give is to go see a nurse or doctor, its not as embarrasing as it may seem.
it will help ease your worry as to what it may be, and will get your problem sorted out quicker =]

Have you ever found anything to help it? I believe I am having the same problem. It kinda feels like you have an adult diaper rash...red and sore and burns like crazy! If you found anything out let me know please!

I have pretty much the same thing...I've Had yeast infections before and it wasn't like this. I tried putting Carmex on my Vulva because the symptoms felt alot like chapping and so far the symptoms have disappeared. Your Vaginal Lips are thin-skinned just like your lips on your face and i think they can get chapped from no moisture or underwear that rubs...this problem happens less when i wear loosefitting clothing which leads me to believe it's related to chafing (like diaper rash) and periodic vaginal dryness caused by hormone levels...and who knows maybe even cold weather. I am no expert When in doubt, always Call your doctor

i had the same with itching right between the opening of the vagina and the anus...and im still a virgin! i was told about 3 creams: eumovate, betnovate and dermovate. i tried betnovate and it works. just rub a verrry little to the area for a few nights and it stops the itching...however, it never goes away forever. it comes back after a while and ul have 2 use it again but at least it helps.

Carmex works best for me. It gets rid of burning and itching. Just make you you wash your vagina before applying the balm.

Bacterial vaginosis "BV". It comes from the bacteria on the mans hands, fingers, mouth, and/or penis. Have him wash up and use listerine moving forward. Good luck!
