I've haven't had a period for nearly a year so I'm going to go to the doctors, would they do a vaginal examination? Want to know what I'm going to! (I'm 16 and scared!)

Hi,
Yes, they will talk to you first and find out your past history and possibly your family's past history with gynecological issues.
They may do a PAP smear if you are sexually active. They will do a pelvic examination and vaginal as well. It's not painful, just uncomfortable - the older you get the more you get used to these as they become routine.
They may possibly book you for an ultrasound to look inside at your ovaries, tubes and uterus. They may do a complete blood work.
Not sure if I am missing something but I think you get the picture.
Hope this helps and good luck

Glad it came just remember that it might take a couple of cycles to get back to your 'normal'.
