About two days ago I started feeling sore around my vaginal opening, this is normal for me after sex but I haven't had sex in about month so I was confused. Then yesterday my inner labia and all around it started to feel irritable and itching and just painful, and now it's just irritable and itchy all over and it's like a burning feeling. I don't know what it could be.
I've never been tested but i've only had two partners in my life, one had been tested negative for any sexually transmitted disease, and I'm the first to be with my boy friend of now and I highly doubt he is being unfaithful to me.
If anyone has any idea what this could be please give me your best advice, it's sincerely needed!!

I would recommend at this point that you get tested. I don't know if it is an infection or an STD, but it seems like it would be a good idea. Ask your physician to test you for all STDs and be specific--include HPV and herpes just in case. I am pretty sure this isn't an STD, but you do need to make sure. Let me know how it goes, okay?

hi thanks for your reply i went to a gyno and i have a yeast infection and a urinary tract infection, and am clean of any STDs! so i guess that's great, but still very painful. I've got all antibiotics and creams that i need so hopefully this goes away fast!
I found out that the yeast infection was caused by my other antibiotics that i was taking when I was sick about 2 weeks ago, and it seems like the urinary tract infection was caused by sex since i know i am very much hygienic. the urinary tract infection i googled and sex seems to be the cause but i dont understand how it could cause that, do you know?

make sure you pee imediately after sex. bacteria from skin can get in your inside of where you pee and cause the urinary tract infection.
