And couldn’t....so it’s still in..... could be over dry I guess, never had any other problems....

I was bleeding during intercourse. Unfortunate timing. After 8 years I haven't had a menstrual period. I had an exam done and doctor said as he was doing this exam, my walls were bleeding a little. He asked if I went through a hormonal change. Turns out I had an infection. My paps always came back clear, except when I had a few other yeast infections. I'm 55, sorry.

Hi, I'm 56 and this is the 3rd time I've started bleeding after menopause. I went through menopause around 39. It feels again like a period. Stomach ache, lower back pain, tired etc. Blood is red this time, albeit a small amount - before it was brown/red. Both times I've had it check with ultrasound and they've said it's fine. Consultant said that sometimes the hormones just don't want to give up. However, it's still concerning and I am looking to go again for an ultrasound. Looking at various forums it seems very common for us post menopausal women to bleed, but of course we always fear the worst......will report back.
