Three days ago, while sick with a fever, I developed a very large blood and puss filled sore on my bikini area. I noticed it when I showered that night, by the morning a large area surrounding it was red and swollen. It hurts a lot. I’ve been cleaning it with alcohol and peroxide (alternating the two). It busted today, and gooey puss and blood came poring out of it. It was disgusting! The “sore” is now smaller and the surrounding area is not as swollen. I had something like this last December after a surgery that removed my ovary. It was near one of the areas with stitches. I showed it to the doctor, but he didn’t tell me what it was, and just told me to keep it clean with peroxide. I had a fever after surgery. Does anyone know what this is? :-(
