I'm a virgin, 15 years old, with uncomfortable symptoms in the vaginal area that have persisted for at least a month. It started with what I thought to be a yeast infection (smell, discharge, persistent itching.) I hoped it would go away and it fluctuated, with varying degrees of irritation, sometimes causing extreme discomfort. Now I have developed bumps around my vagina that itch and burn when I urinate (and really freak me out, they seem to be coming up from under the skin, unlike a bug bite, and rather like some kind of wart or growth, if that makes sense) and a patch of skin that is raw and painful to the touch above my labia. And I still also have the symptoms of a (supposed) yeast infection.
Again, I am a virgin, so I am very confused, worried, and irritated by these symptoms. I'm terrified that I've somehow contacted some awful disease. PLEASE help.

You have not contacted some awful disease. It is most likely a simple yeast infection. All women get them at some time, and you don't have to bee sexually active to develop them.

Go to the drug store. Purchase a yeast infection treatment. Use it. If the infection does not clear up in the appropriate time, see a physician.
