Guys I doubt it is anything to worry about, I've had a pulsing in my stomach since I can remember and always thought it was normal... I'm 19 and like I said I remember having pulsing in stomach everyday of my life, I only notice it while lying down. I use to just think it was my heart beat. Now I know it is a pulse from the aorta. But like I said, had it since I can remember and I'm perfectly fine so I doubt it is anything. It is not a reliable symptom of an AAA in my opinion. And besides it is s rare condition that typically effects men in their sixties or older, so really stop worrying, stress don't help. I have a slight curve in my spine that can cause back pain when lying down, I would not be surprised if that can make the normal aorta Pulse more visible when lying down. Also I have IBS and whenever I get stomach pain it is always that. I also get trapped wind a lot. So like I said it really is nothing to worry about and I only suggest checking it out if you have other symptoms alongside it or/and you are a make in the sixties or older. Otherwise don't worry about it.

Hello. Will you help me? Im experiencing pulpitating of my stomach and shortness of breathing. Im so worried that im pregant but i know im still a virginnn. I also tried pregnancy test it says negative, I dont know. I also experience bloating please help.

I can see pulsating in my stomach when lying down and when standing...it is very visible at times. Pulsating can also be felt in my naval. My dr ordered an ultrasound of my aorta, i was worried about an aneurysm. Results were normal. I am thin, 5'8" 120 lbs, and they said they see that often in thinner people. I am happy I had the ultrasound as I still needed peace of mind.

I've just read that it can also be a symptom of an otherwise unknowable aortic aneurysm... O see this on my own body gr the first time recently. I am 50 years old.
