I'm 18 and I've always been able to eat whatever I want and whenever I want and not have any problems. What I mean by "problems" is things like nausea, weight gain/loss, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. My whole life has been a smooth sail as far as my stomach and eating habits is concerned. That is... until recently. Yesterday, I ate the way I normally do and actually ended up getting sick! I don't mean that I had a fever or that I was actually diagnosed with anything but that I was to a point where I couldn't work because of the stomach pain and I actually ended up vomiting which was the worst part! After vomiting, I felt completely fine. I was able to work again and I had no pain... I did, however, regain my hunger... after getting home, I drank a glass of orange juice and ate some soup. After about an hour, I vomited. I came to a conclusion that maybe something didn't mix well with my stomach or perhaps maybe something I ate was actually bad or spoiled... I might want to add that even though I've lived my whole life eating in great or small amounts with no problem, I haven't been eating like that the last few weeks. In fact, I might even say that I hardly ate. I wasn't starving myself or going on some rebellion that led to me not eating but I just didn't have that kind of appetite. So today, when I woke up, I ordered a pizza and ate about half of it. I had pretty much dismissed what had happened the night before and was kind of hoping that it was a one time thing... I had no problems after eating the pizza until I started moving around a lot it seems... I started having the same painful sensations as the night before. It wasn't until a couple hours that I felt nauseated... which I did end up vomiting again... Like the previous times, after vomiting, I felt fine and was able to get back to work. I drank some water because after vomiting, I would regain hunger and thirst. Now, I'm home and just finished vomiting yet again. I'm hungry and thirsty but it seems that my stomach can't keep anything even as bland as water down! Someone help! Give some tips! I'm currently sucking on ice. My purpose for this is that I was hoping that sucking on it would allow me to drink water in small amounts that it wouldn't disrupt my stomach. I'm also keeping a bottle of water next to me just in case I can't remain patient for the ice to melt... and a cup of jello. I think that jello is easy on the stomach and to digest. It's sugar-free as well if that has any impact.
