had a mole removed from the bottom of my foot nearly 3 weeks ago, had 5 stitches removed after 14 days - very painful! wound still slightly open, but covered in a dressing. is it safe to weight bear now as im scared of re-opening wound. no pain at all.
also been told to keep dressing on for a week - surely it wont dry out if covered??

In order to determine whether you could walk or not, one must see the wound. However, if your doctor removed the stiches after 14 days, that probably indicates that the wound was closed at that time and you should be fine to walk around wearing some comfortable foot-wear. If on the other hand the wound heart significantly, has pus draining out or if the skin is opened and you can see the interior of the wound, see your healthcare provider. Best, Tom
