Last nite, i weed wacked our whole freakin yard!!! I even crouched down in the gully in the front of the house to get them nasty things.
I held the wacker for close to 2 hours with no break in the action. It is a STEHL brand, which means it's nearly invinceable and quite heavy. After i was finished, i had to pretty much pry my left hand off of the handle and had to force it open. Now my arm feels like it weighs 100 pounds. I went to pour myself a cup of coffee last nite when i came in and i couldn't hold the coffee pot!! My left arm was heavy all nite and it's still heavy this morning, like i have no strength in it all.
I woke up several times in the nite to tingly feelings in the arm. Did i do something to my muscles? Or have i just over used the muscles that i don't usually exert to much?
I am right handed, so all of my concentration is used up on the right side. Maybe i just used the left side to much.

Hi BB! I think that you're going to be okay in a couple of days. I think that it was definitely because you exerted the heck out of yourself without stretching so that's what the problem is. I used to get the same feeling when I waited tables and I was on my feet for most of the night, moving boxes and carrying trays. It definitely is not much to worry about. Now if it lasts and it takes more than a few days to feel normal, then it's time to talk to a doctor. Does that make sense?

Thanks dog, i thought my arm was comin straight away from my body!!!
But it is starting to feel better and the only thing that actually pains me right now are the muscles in my bicep and my shoulder.

Great, now watch my left boob get bigger than the other one, who da thunk it o.O I guess i'll just have to alternate from left to right.

It's either wack the weeds or drive the tractor to mow. Our yard is hugh besides.

Or just trick your husband into doing it. That might help you with your arm problems, and you can always bribe him with beer or something. That's what I would do. :-)
