This is not a wet dream, but you might be about to have a wet dream soon. Here is probably what is happening:
While you sleep your bladder becomes full. When you are a teen you sleep longer at night, causing your bladder to get even more full than you are used to, so until you do an accident like this might happen. Because you are not a bedwetter, you do not wet completely, but unfortunately start to. Within seconds though the sensation wakes you up and you stop, luckily, leaving only a much smaller wet pee stain than if you stayed asleep and continued wetting your bed all the way.
(I have personally had this experience myself, and it freaked me out!)
I was also very confused about how I woke up so soon. Okay, I thought, I had a freak bedwetting accident, but my ability to stop it so soon without even thinking was even more strange to explain because my thought process was not "oh no! I'm wetting the bed! I better stop!" Instead there was no thought: I simply felt like I had to pee really badly, then a relieving psssssshhhhh gushed out and SNAP I was awake, and the flow had stopped. How?
It turns our, according to a doctor who told me, that the erection I get during sleep was the cause for the accident and also for stopping it, but because I was still developing the timing was slightly off. What happens is when your penis becomes erect there is a valve that shuts off the urine flow so semen can come out instead. It seems in our cases we were sleeping with a full bladder and possibly about to have a wet dream. Our penises started getting erect just as we felt that something was going to come out. Because the system was still new and developing, some urine started flowing out first, but just when the penis became firmly erect the valve shut off the flow and woke me up. At least in my case I can say that when I felt down to survey the damage in addition to the wet warm pee I just did I also was erect.
Luckily this only happened a few times, and believe it or not I had a REAL wet dream several weeks later. But because of these bedwetting dreams there were some confusing similarities. These were not the sex dreams talked about in school, In fact, in the dream I believed I was peeing. The two main differences were that I did not wake up right away, but was allowed to completely finish, which had a much more relieving sensation. The other was that the flow of "pee" was not continuous. After the first wave of pee came out, it lasted several seconds and I thought I was "done," but then a pressure built up again and a second flow came out. This kept going several times in a row before finally stopping. I woke up REALLY thinking I wet the bed and failed to wake up fast enough, but discovered instead a wet area the size of my hand which was strangely sticky, which it turned out was semen. But anyway, the strange on-off-on pulsations to the flow of "pee" in my dream I later learned was part of the muscle contractions of an ejaculation when you have an orgasm.
So, they are very different things, but because they happen during sleep at your age and involve the same body parts things can get a bit confusing. Hope that helped.
