My doctor told me that I have some problems with my antibodies. I have them a lot or not enough. However something is not as it supposes to be. Because I don't know anything about medicine and my general practitioner is abroad I need to ask some of you. What exactly are antibodies?

I am not an expert in medicine either, but I did some reading before. As I understand it, antibodies are substances that are made by B cells. B cells are kind of white blood cells. Antibodies are made every time organism has needed to fight against something. That something can be internal or external.
