My baby is 7 months old and her first teeth are coming out. And the thing that bothers me is that I am not sure when I should start to clean those teeth. I mean, should we use some tooth paste immediately, or is it too early for that? If it is early, how to clean her teeth?

You must know that dental hygiene has to be applied from the very start. This is important not only to prevent dental problems, but also to teach the baby that oral hygiene is a very important thing. Tooth pastes are allowed only after the age of two, before that you can just use brushing and avoiding bad food (snacks, even juices should be avoided).

My pedi told me to clean my baby's teeth with a cotton ball. You don't have to put anything on the cotton exept water.
As soon as your baby sprouts his teeth, dental hygiene can commence.
Just wet the cotton ball and clean each little tooth.
