i am sorry but does this mean that you have to open your vaginal lips to see the hymen ?? actually i am entering medical college this year but i can't wait till i take it so i really need help

because when i looked through a mirror (not inside the lips actually ) i saw that there was something like an opening below the lips towards the anus but can't see what's inside it and a white fluid comes out of it which some times causes me to feel sticky sorry but is this normal for a virgin ??

because i am worried since i used to masturbate (externally ) without fingering and i don't use tampoons so is this normal or is my hymen broken please somebody help me i am very worried thx

Obviously you are a man, but you're most likely a teen because this is the most ignorant comment I have ever seen. If you are a girl, I feel sorry for you. It is completely possible to tell if a girl is or is not a virgin. Some girls, that are virgins, can't find their hymen because they don't know where/what it is or they were born without one. Clearly either you are a virgin or you haven't had sex with a virgin because you know nothing about the female body.

strange because my ob/gyn was examining my "torn" hymen at the tissue around the entrance to my vaginal canal not "deep inside" as you are suggesting. She told me that even though it is torn the tissue will always be there it doesn't go away, and as you age it can change (not so smooth, bumpy feeling etc.), through years of intercourse, and childbirth but you can feel it at the bottom of your vaginal opening (spot on vaginal opening closest to your anus)

So true, my dr. told me that the hymen looks different from a tear from an injury to looking ragged from having frequent sex, to childbirth. I thought that after I had my child that they had put the sutures in wrong after it had healed. it felt different and was very sensitive. and the tissue I felt I thought was scar tissue or something was really wrong but years later when I saw another dr. she told me what I was feeling was just what was left of my hymen and that it was ragged feeling from childbirth and having had an episiotomy but it was normal and nothing was wrong.

Your not a doctor! Anyone can type HYMEN in GOOGLE and click the PICTURES link and SEE that it's no "deep inside the vagina"! Doctor my ass!

The hymen is on the OUTSIDE!!! I should know. I had one once upon a time. I don't know who that fool is who claimed he's a doctor, but he's a liar. All you have to do is do a image search for hymen. There are photos of what a hymen looks like as well as drawings.

Hymens can also differ from woman to woman. Some are easily broken. Some are not. With some the skin can stretch. With some it can not. Some can be partially broken before actual sexual activity, via various innocent ways, but remain enough intact where the first try at sexual intercourse can be uncomfortable.

When it comes to sexual intercourse, it is painful the first time for some women, and not for others. There can be bleeding with some women, and not with others.

Vulvas are just a varied as penises. That's the way it works.

Its right after the entrance of the vagina. But, it could be deeper depending on the girl

you are clearly not a doctor. its outside the vagina, visible when you spread your vaginal lips, before the entrance of the vagina

If the hymen were right at the opening urine would not be able to pass. It is farther inside.
