I am a woman living in Norway. Have a severe TMJ or TMD problem. disck out of place, arthrose and inflammation. In need of some kind of surgery. Little know-how in this area here. I am trying to find out where in the world there migth be a clinic or hosptail that has long time experience with this and do surgery (probably of less-invasive kind?) and really get patients better. Have heard so many scaring stories, and find it very difficult to get an idea about where I should go.
Most greatful for answers! It could also be of intereset to learn where not to go, based on other persons experience.
To live with TMJ is vey hard. Pains 24-7, and quality of life gets smaller and smaller.
