I have a sister who complains about some white sore inside her mouth. I have tendency to get herpes sometimes, but it pass away after some time. This one seems to be a little bit different, so she worries. Can you tell me what could it be, it is not painful and it last for 15 days already. Is there some dangerous type of sore that requires doctor’s attention?

First, to tell you that sores and white inside mouth is very common problem, and nothing as dangerous as you might think. I think there are not even few months that I am clear, but I have to get something white inside mouth. At the beginning, I also worried a lot; even I visited my doctor few times. Then, I realized he has the same solution each time, and that is I have to wait. White thing will pass by itself and there is nothing, we need to do. The only time he helped me to get rid of that, he gave me some medicine. Anyway, I would recommend your sister to wait a little bit more, before she visits her doctor. The only problem is if she worries a lot and if that seems to be big problem for her. In this case, it would be good for her to make an appointment and check with her doctor what that is. There is no need to be worried about something white inside mouth, because I am sure it will go away with time.
