I guess I don't know if papule is the right word, but anyway, I have these tiny, white, pimple-like bumps on my scrotum, and I am really starting to get concerned. At first I thought it was Fordyce Spots, but they also itch too. It is not a serious itch, but every once and a while it will become very itchy. I am also concerned because I don't want to have sex and end up spreading something I didn't know was an STD. Could someone please help me out, and advise me on what to do. Thank you.

I have had these & pearly penile papules since puberty also, I never knew what they were. In fact I guess I thought everyone was like that. I have never paid attention to other mens' genitals. I have been married for almost 28 years and my wife has never had any problems so I would dare say they are not contagious. I know they can get itchy or even painful if the wife gets a bit ruff dury foreplay. they also seem to bother more when I sweat more.
I have just learned to live with it. Using Medicated powder or cream like Gold Bond does help.
