When i was little, i used to chew on a plastic paintbrush. My brother accidentally elbowed the paintbrush in my mouth and it jabbed the bottom of my tongue really hard, i mean SUPER hard. Ever since then, i get a pain under my tongue where paintbrush jabbed me and i finally looked to see that the vein underneath has swollen up and turned white in a little spot. Its not big but it hurts. WHAT IS IT?!?

What you are probably describing is a cancer sore or as it may be called a "cold sore". This can come from eating excessive citrus or vitamin C.
It also can be passed from person to person through oral contact or through the sharing of a dirty cup, glass, toothbrush, etc.
It should subside within a day or two... provided you don't eat more nuts or citrus.

I have a white sore on the bottom of the tongue. My nurse grandma told me that it's from eating a lot of citrus and could be caused by stress also. What do you think?
