why is one of my labia bigger than the other?

Omg! I'm only 11 and my left labia is bigger it sucks!

I'm 15 and I have the same problem it's actually a relief to know that I'm not the only one like this. I have to do the same things..

im 17 years old and know exactly what you mean, i first noticed it when i was about 13 years old its its just become more of an issue ever since. i am so self concious because of it and feel so ashamed! i makes me feels dirty everytime i have to tuck it in or look at myself in the mirror but im too scared to go to the doctors about it! HELP?:-) when it comes to any sexual activities i have to hold it away and point blank refuse to move my hand just for the fact i hate it been there and dont want him to think im dirty. its not like im smelly or have poor hygine or anything cause im a very clean person. i havent told noone about it, not even my mum as i think she will think im weird or abnormal. its gone on for long enough and i just want help :-):$

Hi honey! 1st of all it is TOTALLY UTTERLY normal to have one bigger than the other! Put your hands together, see how one is bigger than the other? Same with breasts, testicles, feet, eyes, ears etc. All varying degrees of course! It's just how we are made! Just like breasts EVERY woman has different labia! This is who you are - there is NOTHING wrong with you in the slightest! I hope you come to that realization yourself, if not Google Images - Labia - it is amazing just how many different types there are! I suppose it makes just as much sense as any other part of our bodies - it's individual! IF you can't get passed this - I also want you to wait till about 20 (as you are still in puberty) then there is a quick procedure called a "Labiaplasty" Where they reduce the size. Your boyfriend will more than likely like larger labia over small ones! I hope this helps you know that there is NOTHING WRONG, you are NOT WEIRD OR ABNORMAL! You are TOTALLY NORMAL! Hope this helps! Everything sorts itself out by the time you have finished puberty! Sometimes they remain uneven, others it corrects! It's EXACTLY the same as every other thing on our body's! One side is bigger than the other! Everyone of us is different, don't ever go by someone from a video or a magazine etc. a lot of these women have had labiaplasty! Just always know that you are whom you are - and it's irrelevant if something - you hardley ever see - is larger!

Mine is way longer like maybe half a centimeter is that bad? I'm afraid to go to physicals because of it

I'm sixteen and had this problem since I was thirteen. I am a virgin so it freaked me out. But this is a relief reading this because I thought something was seriously wrong with me. Anyways I'm off to delete my history from searching this lol.

I'm 14 and my left is 4cm compared to 1cm for the right one. I used to 'play' with it when I was really little and it just got stretched. A lot. Is there any way I can fix it or will I have to get surgery one day? I really don't want to get surgery, especially down there, but it bugs me so much and makes me feel really uncomfortable. I have the same problem. I don't really care what guys think about it but I personally don't like it and it bugs me. I have to tuck it in sometimes and sometimes if I don't ill be walking and feel it and it feels very awkward and distracting. I'm 17 and I'll be looking into surgery because it bugs me in my daily life not just to make guys happy.
