I went to bed wear leggings and I keep waken up because i was sweating. I'm on my monthly cycle and I don't normally wear long pants to bed and I woke up this morning with bumps on the right side of my vaginal. I'm not sure what it could be but its very uncomfortable and initiated. This has never happen to me before, so do I go to the hospital? doctor?

Hi there,

I come here for the same reason that you have above. I noticed a lump just inside my left vagina few days back. I tried to go to GP for a check but they didn't advice me since I am having my period at the moment.

So I did couple of reading through internet and found a couple of possible reasons:

cyst (should not be painful) or abscess (since it is painful)

Actually I have been feeling discomfort (cramp-like feeling) on my left vagina since almost a year back.

It always cramp when I have my period, and a little painful when I am turned on.

I am not sexually active yet, so I am not sure whether it is anything normal.

I would definitely suggest you to go to a gyn or at least GP to check and ensure it's fine. There is no harm checking rather than feeling worried and discomfort for longer period of time.

I do hope someone with good experience or knowledge would see this post to help both of us.

All the best and get well soon!
