Hello. I am a guy 34 years old and I have broken my leg on the job. I was carrying some boxes (my boss told me to do so), and there was a rush of people coming beside me, and I fell and broke a leg. I am interested if I can ask for compensation for it. I can not work for another three weeks to a month. What are my rights?

Yes, you can ask for compensation. That is provided by the law, but you will not get a full compensation – about 60 or 75 % or so. And first few days will not be listed in that amount. You have a right to ask for free medical care, to receive permanent disability payment if it is needed, and your boss can under no circumstances retaliate against you if you are doing something that he doesn’t like (regarding injury at work). That is about it.
