Two years ago, I had a late abortion, now I'm in a STABLE relationship with the perfect man, we have A LOT of sex, like 3-4 times daily, unprotected, and we are trying to conceive, we've been trying for several months now, and haven't gotten lucky, not even a scare, my period always pops up right on time, is there something wrong with me? Or are we doing something wrong? Frustrated and have found no help what so ever.

Hi Guest,

We don't even begin to consider fertility problems until a year has passed without success.

If the time comes, BOTH of you should see a fertility specialist.  You can expect a full physical and internal exam, your partner can also expect a sperm count.

Don't assume it is you.  It can be him.  Maybe nothing is wrong.

It's all a matter of timing.  Find out when you ovulate, there are test kits available.  It's usually between about 11 -16 days after your period starts.  Ideally you'll have sex just a few days before until about two days after ovulation.

Suggest that your partner wear boxers.  Cooler temps improve sperm production.

Hope it helps, good luck.
