Try peeing in the shower. Hold the shower head over your urethra so the water washes the pee straight down the drain or get a shower spray for the bath.

I'm having the same thing happen. My results come back nov 7 and I'm super scared. My doctor already put me on the Acyclovir and said if it helps then it has to be Herpes. So I'm praying that it doesn't help but I'm also praying it does because of your story! I'm only 19 with only 2 past partners, and one now of 3 months.

Kay, I'm having the same problems you've described and am finally going to get tested today- it has been a brutal week. But what you described could be a rarer STD that they don't always test for called Chancroid. The swelling of the groin really tipped me off on that one.
The way that you were treated would have taken care of it, and did, obviously, but it would still be good to know?

I have such a similar story and I'm going through it right now! I'm an 18 year old and my partner was 20.

About 3 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with a new partner. Before we had sex we both discussed our past sexual partners and if we had any diseases. We were both clean. We had sex and about 3 days later I started to get uncomfortable down there. I didn't think anything of it since I hadn't had sex in many months.

Then 2 days later I started having pain at the bottom of lips around my vagina opening. I figured I had irritated it and it would go away with some Tylenol or Ibuprofen.

2 days later I couldn't pee. The pain of peeing was horrific. I was so confused of what was going on and started to pee in a bathtub and soak in Epsom salts.

3 days go by and I'm in indescribable pain. I finally took a mirror and looked. My vagina has sores all on outer and inner lips. The opening around my vagina was pure red with a white/yellow layer that wouldn't come off. I was so scared at that point I had contracted an STD. I texted him and he claimed to be clean.

I started researching my symptoms and NOTHING matched. The internet claims my symptoms are herpes but I wasn't convinced.

2 days pass and I'm in the worst pain I've ever felt. I'm to the point I'm peeing in the shower while carefully holding my lips and running water on my vagina while I pee. Everything hurt. I had the sores and a thick greenish/yellow discharge.

I broke down and went to the doctor after 9 days. She swabbed me three times for different STDs STD and I screamed and also ran off the table. I also gave a urine sample which they said I had a nasty bladder infection and blood in my urine. My cervix is also infected but they didn't know from what. They also took my blood for testing of other STDs. I received two penicillin shots ans 4 antibiotic shots followed up with more antibiotics the next day.

The same day I texted my partner and explained my doctor visit. He had told me his STD tests he has done (he's in the military and they require it) all came back negative.

At that point I was so confused. WHAT IS GOING ON?

My white later around my opening disaappered within the next day but the pain was still there. Still peeing I'm showers and taking prescription painkillers. I was also extremely constipated. 9 days without a bowel movement because the pain down there was too unreal.

I started to think of how to handle my sores and bought diaper rash cream with high zinc to put on my sores. I also clean with fragrance free huggies wipes.

Today has marked 13 days and with the antibiotics I have gotten better. The sores are itchy now, not hurting. Most of them are gone. I go back to the doctor on Tuesday for my results and a final diagnosis. Even if it was an STD I have been treated for any of them. If my partner tested negative after we had sex I doubt I have anything. I'm hoping for the best!

Did you have huge swelling. I'm having exact symptoms. & same time frame. Saw dr on Thursday waiting for test to come back. Gave me same rx as you. I've been taking rx for two days going into third day. No relief from swelling.

Omg this happened to me after amoxicillin for strep. I was terrified it was herpes. It hurt so bad when I would pee and my woo hoo was swollen. I brought a and d ointment and kept coating the area with it and only used water down there when bathing and after about a week the sores no longer hurt and started disappearing
