Well it's currently 5am and this is how my nights have been since the beginning of the week. The results were not in Friday so I know they're available today. I have faith that it was a bacterial infection from the UTI AND YEAST but my mind boggles at the fact of what if? This entire experience turned the guy I was Dating into a complete douche he blocked me from everything saying he was tired of talking about it because he knew I was fine his doctor reassured him he was tested for everything but what about my reassurance dam it! What about my feelings? He completely left me to go through this alone.... this is the worst experience I've ever went through in my life. Though it brought me closer to God with new eyes and perspective I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. I probably won't go to sleep tonight... or this morning ... TBC

Still no results today and I'm ready to blow up. I didn't fall asleep till 7 am this morning to wake up at nine and my culture is still at the lab since last Wednesday? like, come on. (sigh) I'm trying to remain positive.. prayed up.. and patient.. but I'm honestly drained, and stressed.. yet faithful. I won't post anymore until I get the results.

I had exactly what you had. Except, I had flu like symptoms while having it to. I had open sores that were very painful and also swelling. I went to a clinic and they thought it was herpes because of the sores and the flu-like symptoms, but all tests came back negative. I went to my doctor and she wasn't sure what it was considering I had sores. But I did have the milky discharge. I got put on various antibiotics and yeast infection medicine. I also got the lidocaine and it does work great. I just want you to know that you are not alone in this! This weird thing happened to me too!

This thread has been my only sense of peace
within the last 48 hours. I've convinced abs self diagnosed myself with herpes due to google images...but it reassuring to know I'm not the alone because it's hard to discuss this with any of my friends. I was hoping my shaving might've caused and infection after putting alcohol and peroxide on the bumps but I worry because they're puss like that it's herpes. I have an appointment scheduled for Friday so hopefully all is well but until then I'm trying to stay positive and pray. I'll be praying for you all as well

I have the same thing. I'm a virgin and I'm only 16. Im terrified to go to the doctor about it and embarrassed but I'm in so much pain I can't cope! I can't wear jeans or certain underwear because it will hurt too bad. I check it every day with my mirror but it hasn't changed since 3 days ago when I first found it and I think there may be more sores. My whole vagina opening is either swollen or had a sore on it and itches like hell. I can't examine it very easily now as I can't touch anywhere without going through excruciating pain.

Hi Kay! Thank you for sharing your story. I'm experiencing the same pain and anxiety. It's currently 5:50am and I am balling my eyes out thinking the worst. I have to wait another two days before knowing the results of the blood work. Did your sores look like circles?? And was it painful when your obyn touched your sore with a swab? I nearly fainted because of the pain! I'm so scared.

I went through a similar experience at first I was told I had a yeast infection was treated for that the burning of my hoo ha continued and I went back freaking out thinking I contracted a disease I was then told that I had bacterial vaginosis which is an over growth of bacteria I was given medication and I kept puting anti itch cream on my vulva and that's when the sores stared coming, my vulva was itchy asf and one side was swollen I couldn't even move. Of course I thought the worst (herpes) o went to the doctor praying she was going to assure me that everything was fine but the first thing she said was that I had a sore and that she was going to do a culture for herpes. I WAITED 5 DAYS FOR THE RESULTS CONVINCED I HAD IT. Luckily it came back negative I think the sores was just from cracked and irritated skin and I also over did it with the cream so idk

I had similar experience where results were negative. They still prescribed acyclovir both oral consumption and topical. Apparently, if ur sores are more than 4 days old, you will get a false negative result for herpes viral culture. Best is to retest after 3 to 4 months where the blood has enough antibodies buildup against herpes. Getting. Herpes is not the end of the world. Many medications are available to suppress future outbreaks . You can still lead a normal healthy life. Vaccine for genital herpes is being developed. It might be available soon by 2018 latest. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hi, I'm updating this post. It's been two months now since this absolute horror and thing down there were completely fine, until now. It felt like yeast infection is coming so I immediately started to wash it out couple times a day and applied cream. It's currently all swollen & itchy and I'm noticing like weird bump(s) happening not really visible or painful but you can imagine how worried I am right now. Oh my god I reaaally hope for just regular yeast since I won't be able to get to my doc in at least two weeks... Oh god

Thank you for posting all of that-I'm in the freaking out stage as my bf and I have been together 2 years and things are going well but I have never felt so much pain in my life and now my mind can't stop thinking that he cheated on me and now I have herpes...I'm keeping it cool as not to accuse him but ya I'm freaking out
