Cut out sugar and mega carbs for at least seven days. The antiyeast MEVY diet. Meat, eggs, veggies and yoghurt. Go back to this whenever you have symptoms and start to notice what food and drinks set off a yeast infection. Beer for me is a big no can do.

Please anyone, update this? I'm so afraid of having herpes... God for big. I won't know how to look at my family in the eyes ever again.. please someone give me hope. One day after sex, it was hurting to urinate, two days later, I shaved and found all this open sores around my vag area.. 6 individual ones.. I went to the doctor yesterday and have to wait two weeks for my result. The Dr said it looks like herpes but I've been with the same guy for 4 years...

Omg.....I've had the same problem....and it only seems to happen when I get put on anabiotic's .... i've been to the doctors, it was not an STD.....So...I remain a free person! This is not a game! The blisters hurt so bad especially when I pee....Well I'm glad that it's not just me ....and this really eased my mind...

I don't usually right my experiences but since this blog saved me I thought I might as well. Same here freaking out cause I was sure I had herpes. The signs were pretty much the same. Sores and blisters and itchy and red and blah blah. Also took antibiotics for a while. I freaked my life out and turns out it was a yeast infection-a severe one but who cares when you think you have all the rest !!!
I'm writing this down to put your mind at ease till you go to your gyno-but seriously don't postpone it one minute cause no matter what you read here only he/she can really help you relax and tell you for sure what it is. And a little tip: stay oh my god stay away of the Internet photos just go straight there. Nothing will change till your visit and you will simply lose your freaking mind trying to play doctor when you are actually anything else :) hope you are all well too and as happy as me afterwards. Also little tip that apparently makes a big difference- herpes HURTS. BIG TIME. yeast infection itches and burns but the pain doesn't really prevent you from sitting. That's the difference I found in some books and my doc pointed out when announcing the results. Hope it helps ;) all the best

Ok, so I've come across this thread because I've been suffering with yeast infections every month for the past 8 months or so and I've recently started to get small blisters which itch around my perinium. Obviously I'm freaking out cause my first thought was herpes but seeing this has put my mind at ease. I have a doctors appointment next week so hopefully will get some answers!

were your individual sores? after i found the 6 individual sores, i could sit or walk but i had my period idk if that caused it... and did you have pain urination?

A lot of people said they were tested and never came back to post results :(

I am currently having a similar issue and waiting on results to come back. I had recently broken up with my bf (who had been tested for stds) so I was feeling sorry for myself and got drunk and hooked up with a guy from England. We had sex and rough foreplay for four hours straight on Tuesday night. I was obviously immediately sore. The next day (Wednesday) the English guy came over and tried to finger me but I screamed and he stopped. I noticed it hurt specifically in one spot inside my vulva close to the perineum. The next night (Thursday) I look down there and noticed a slight skin tear at the perineum, another cut looking wound above that on the inside left side of my labia/vulva and two little white dots. Friday morning I got to the doctors, she said it doesnt look like herpes but we tested anyway for that and other things, my per shows some kind of infection, probably a yeast infection as I get those all the time, and I had BV for three years straight, there was also a lot of blood in my pee test, also it turns out I am pregnant to my ex bf. On Saturday I notice they have all turned into open wounds and on Saturday night one has a white coat over it like a canker sore and the left side of my labia minors/inside my vulva is swollen. It stings when I pee and if I wear tight things/gstrings, but I never had any tingling, and it happened so quickly after having sex with this English guy it doesn't make sense. I don't have flu like symptoms or pains in my butt/down my leg, no cramps, I am now having a bit of discharge which is like 2% milk, kinda milky watery consistency. Also the day I noticed the tears and two white pinhead sized spots I sent a photo to my girlfriends who have genital warts and herpes and they all said it doesn't look anything like what they get. I find out on Thursday if it's herpes or not (it's Sunday now) so I'll post again then.

hey guys! so updating back ( the girl with the guy for four years ) TURN OUT MY RESULTS ARE NEGATIVE FOR HERPES!! YAY!! AND THE CULTURE WAS ONLY LESS THAN 24 HOURS OF GETTING SWABBED BY THE DR. I JUST RECENTLY CHANGED MY LAUNDRY DETERGENT AND BOUGHT A NEW DRY SHEETS. MAYBE THAT COULD BE THE CAUSE ALL THESE WEIRD STUFF HAPPENING. BUT I HAD NO FLU SYMPTOMS.

im embarassed to say this but i have an old razor thats been in the shower for a while, i rarely use it but its been a while and bacteria can easily grow if it gets wet so often, it happened right after i shaved with that dirty razor.
