I’ve been reading a lot lately about sweeteners and their fatal effects, especially one called Aspartame. Do you have any information concerning the disorders it may cause? I’m interested because I adore diet coke and drink it a lot, and I have learnt that it contains a lot of Aspartame. What are the exact dangers of Aspartame?

Authorities still approve the use of Aspartame, while numerous individual researches bring appalling details vividly picturing the Dangers of Aspartame together with ghastly confessions of the alleged victims. Aspartame (marketed as “Spoonful”, “NutraSweet” and “Equal”) is blamed for causing whole list of disturbances and disorders, e.g. migraines and severe headaches, memory loss, depression, phobias, rapid heart beat, tachycardia, asthma, nausea or vomiting, diarrhoea, allergic reactions, blood sugar control problems (e.g. hypoglycaemia or hyperglycaemia), bloating, fluid retention, insomnia, impotency and sexual problems, brain cancer and even, after very long consumption, death. In addition to this frightening list, there is also a list of diseases which are worsened by Aspartame, and also of diseases which have the symptoms identical to those caused by Aspartame (this, of course, means that wrong diagnoses are possible); some of them are arthritis, lupus, epilepsy, birth defects, panic disorder, depression and other psychological disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS) etc. The main culprit is methanol, alcohol found in much higher doses than allowed in more than 6,000 products used all over the world. Methanol is converted to formaldehyde in the organism of any Aspartame user (and the level of methanol is excessively high, especially when compared to the level found in fruits, for example), and formaldehyde disturbs numerous processes and reactions in the body. One of the most dangerous products is diet coke, so you better think twice before drinking your next can. Great amounts of Aspartame in your body may be causing the disorders you don’t even think about.
