Only five minutes of libido boosting yoga poses will take you and your partner to unforgettable sexual pleasures: by stimulating circulation in the lower body and pelvic area, these three simple poses increase arousal, desire, lubrication, and orgasm.

For over a decade now we have been hearing about how blood flow below the belt is critical for male sexual performance, and how it can be restored with Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis. But because there is no equivalent medication for women, we never hear just how important blood flow is to women's sexual satisfaction.

One of the very best ways to stimulate circulation in the lower body in women is through the practice yoga, shown by studies at India's GGS-IP University to increase arousal, desire, lubrication, and orgasm, while reducing pain. Here's how you do the poses.

1. Stand up with your feet wide apart and your spine straight

Take a deep breath and release it slowly. Next rotate your feet so they point outward, not so much that you strain your ankles, but as close to a 45 degree angle as you can do comfortably. Bring your hands together in front of you in the namaste position (fingers to fingers, palms and palms), and squat.Stand up straight and remain in place until you feel relaxed. Then lift your left leg and point your toes outward. Like the first exercise, a 45-degree angle is far enough.

Keeping your back straight and remembering to breath deeply and fully, now lift your right leg and point your toes outward. Now squat downward as if you were sitting in an invisible saddle, riding an invisible horse.

This exercise protects the anal sphincter and strengthens the pelvic floor.

4. Your fourth exercise is the reverse of the lunge

On all fours, support your body weight on your elbows and knees as you point your hands and feet outward. Hold this pose as you take five deep breaths in and out. If you pay attention to your abdominal muscles, you can tone your belly as you strengthen your pelvic floor.

The key to success with all of these exercises is to do them gently. You should not do them more often than once a day, and many women avoid them during their periods. A tip you won't find in most yoga books: If you are having trouble stretching, try reducing your consumption of coffee and colas.

The caffeine in them can be quite detrimental to flexibility. If you have a male partner, he can do these exercises with you—they will help his sexual circulation, too.
