Advice please, 12 yrs ago i was having a lot of lower abdominal pains and spent most time constantly going to the doctors, over two yrs of constant pain and numerous test i asked for a hysterectomy as every test had ie ultra sound ,bowel tests evey test possible and all tests came back with nothing but i knew something wasnt right,to cut a long story short i had a total hysterectomy just leaving me with my left ovary, when they gave me the hysterectomy it was then known that i had a large tumour that was benign, since then ive had no problems.and was told that i didnt need any more pap tests done, now over this last 6mths i am getting these really bad lower abdominal pains again, also my bowel movements are irregular and some times very loose, and im getting night sweats, and im constantly tired all the time ,i have a friend who said that i need to have a pap test done as i still have my left ovary left.so im really confused ,is it possible to have a benign tumour that you are safe from getting ovarian cancer as it was 12yrs ago when i had it done, please can someone give me some advice as im a bit worried and more so of experiencing these pains again.
